As you are likely aware there is a new version of the Raspberry Pi available, the B+ version. There have been questions as to whether the current LOGI-Pi R1 is compatible with this new version. The answer is Yes, but to ensure not shorts occur, you will need to put down a piece of kapton (preferable) or any type of tape to isolate some of the arduino pin from the RPi new USB connector.
The new Raspberry Pi B+ design mechanically shifted things around a bit and changed the locations of all mounting holes. Thus, the LOGI-Pi mounting holes are not aligned with the Raspberry Pi mounting holes, but the Raspberry Pi header and LOGI-Pi connector create plenty of friction to hold the boards pretty securely together. The user could optionally add some doublesized tape to the top of the new USB connectors to more securely mate the LOGI-Pi.
Below are images of the LOGI-Pi and Raspberry Pi B+ installed and running. We have updated the latest logi-image to support the B+. You can download the image from the LOGI-Pi Quickstart guide here. If you would like to discuss any B+ related topics, please drop by the forum and drop us a line.
We have created an new logi-image with all needed logi-tools based upon the latest raspbian image. You can download the image here.
Note that we will be updating the current LOGI design to support the new mounting holes of the B+ and the changes will be applied to newly manufactured LOGI-Pi boards.
Cheers!
