The LOGI series is a family of FPGA development boards that mitigates the sharp learning curve associated with FPGA development and unifies existing hardware interfaces and platforms.
FPGA development is an invaluable technology that allows a single board to morph in functionality to fit the needs of changing environments. The LOGI Family FPGA boards allow beginning or experienced FPGA developers a plug-and-play experience with popular embedded systems including the Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone Black.
The LOGI Team has created a closed-loop development solution using the LOGI Boards by providing the hardware, software, drivers and applications for users to jump start their FPGA/CPU applications. All the provided content is open-source to allow users to dig in the hardware code as they learn.
The LOGI Ecosystem allows users to work with FPGAs at three different levels depending on their experience level with FPGAs.
1) Users can use the LOGI Apps to run existing highly functional applications by entering a single terminal command in the terminal. A shell script builds, loads and configures the system and runs the application.
2) Users can use the web based LOGI Skeleton Graphical Editor to graphically customize and configure their projects using a multitude LOGI components. The Skeleton editor then configures the HDL that the user can then build and use in their applications.
3) Users can use the LOGI Stack consisting of software, drivers and HDL to build their own unique FPGA applications.
Seamless FPGA and CPU Co-design Ecosystem
The LOGI Ecosystem is a Gateway for MCU/CPU users to learn and use FPGAs
FPGA expansion and development for the BeagleBone and the Raspberry Pi
Hardware Expansion to Arduino and PMOD peripherals - allowing for a plug and play experience to hundreds of modules
LOGI Skeleton – A graphical HDL editor that allows users to create their own HDL projects while never needing to touch HDL
LOGI Apps – run the LOGI applications including software and hardware with a single terminal command – “sudo make_demo.sh”
LOGI Stack - Software, Drivers, wrappers and HDL provides seamless access between the FPGA and CPU
LOGI Projects – high performance projects that are open source and can be used as reference by users to get started with FPGAs, including machine vision, bitcoin mining, Autonomous vehicle control, robotics and more
Dynamic reconfiguration of FPGA from the host CPU - removes the need for expensive programmers
