  • Hi Jules, the app of the base image for the logi-boards are composed of a Hardware part, loaded in the FPGA, and a software part running on your raspberry-pi or beaglebone. To terminate the software part of an app (when there is one), you just need…
  • Hi, if you connect through USB on the beaglebone black, this will create a virtual network interface on which you can ssh. From this connection you can then configure the ethernet port ip setting to whatever you need. Another option is to create a …
  • Nice ! i will make the change to the code on the repository.
  • Hi Pei, the pif and the LOGI-pi are both FPGA based extansion for the raspberry-pi, but i'll try to sum-up the differences : LOGI-PI is Xilinx based while Pif is Lattice based LOGI-PI FPGA has 5270 6-input LUT while the biggest PIF has 6864 4-inpu…

  • ISE sometime does not take into accounts changes made to the project and keep recompiling old files ... There must be a cache somewhere that needs to be cleaned to get things working.
  • Hi again, i just checked http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardDebian and it seems that the 2014-02-16 image of debian for the beaglebone rely on the exact same kernel as Ubuntu. I'll generate an image for you using this kernel. Regards, Jonathan Piat
  • Hi, i haven't tried debian yet, but i assume that it is using the same kernel as the Ubuntu distro. I have a set of patch for the linux kernel at git://github.com/RobertCNelson/linux-dev.git I can do the setup for the pre-compiled image, all it t…
  • Hi, i just tried your project and it compiles and run fine on my side. Can you take your project, go to Project -> cleanup project files and re-compile it then try to run it again.
  • Hi Ryan, this i likely to be a config problem in the ise project. Do you have any way to share your project files ? This would help us find what when wrong and modify the documentation if needs be. Thanks a lot for your feedback ! Regards, Jona…
  • Do you mean that you are trying to designed and run the the blink led example as described in the wiki ? On your host PC you can clone the logi-projects and logi hard-repository. https://github.com/fpga-logi/logi-projects.git https://github.com/f…
  • I just tested the logi_wishbone and logi_blink_led projects and they work fine on my side. Can you try doing a git pull in logi-projects and logi-hard to make sure everything is up to date, then re-build and test on the logipi ? Thanks a lot.
  • Hi, is it the blink_led demo that you are trying to get working ? If so, the UCF file (thatd assign which signal is connected to which pin of the FPGA) might be off. I'll correct it as soon as possible. Regards, Jonathan Piat
  • I created the account with no problem. Everything seems fine, but if you click on the Forum link in this page, its gonna embed the site into the frame.
