  • Hi,

for some of the projects there is more than one ucf files. These ucf files are prefixed with the board name (logibone/logipi) and suffixed with the board revision (ra1, ra2, ra3, r1). For the ra1 and ra2 (older board revisions), the clock pin was P124, then we changed the layout for the ra3 and r1 boards and clk pin was moved to P85. The boards delivers with the kickstarter are r1 revisions (layout is compatible with ra3), so you should always use the ucf files suffixed with r1 for your projects.

  • So just to make sure... when there is no r1 file, like in "logi-projects\logi-wishbone\hw\logibone\hdl", use the ra3 file?

    Thanks,
    Justin
  • yes you are right. There are still some project missing the R1 file, but there was no change in pinout since RA3 so there is no problem with using it.
