good for 518 KHz when Boston station is on
  • edited January 7
Heard all the IV stations on 518 and learned that "Within the U.S., there are no current plans to broadcast NAVTEX on the alternate designated frequencies of 490 or 4209.5 kHz."  On 6314 and up it's not called NAVTEX but is referred to as USCG HF SITOR (NBDP)  and I have logged many of those on 6-12 MHz.  I was listening overnight on 4209.5 and a lot of Spanish stuff which I have not been able to figure out the callsign of yet. Nothing on 4210 yet.
